Assistant Director, Grade 41 (Contract)

Salary Range [based on year of experience] RM2,083.00 - RM9,549.00
Annual Salary Increment Rate RM225.00
Fixed Entertainment Allowance RM300.00
Fixed House Allowance RM300.00
Cost of Living Allowance RM300.00


  • Support and assist in the enforcement of the Competition Act 2010;
  • Conduct preliminary assessments on complaints and information received;
  • Conduct preliminary assessments on potential infringements;
  • Conduct investigations on cartel and abuse of dominant position cases;
  • Conduct assessments of leniency applications;


  • Degree in Law/Economics (Honours) or related areas;
  • Minimum 2-3 years of working experience preferably in investigation and enforcement, criminal litigation, prosecution or regulatory;
  • Knowledge and/or experience of investigation and enforcement in Competition Law would be an advantage;
  • Strong analytical skills, highly self-motivated, resourceful, independent and a team player;
  • Excellent time management skills, highly resilient and able to accommodate to tight datelines;
  • Excellent oral communication and written skills in English and Bahasa Melayu;
  • Proficiency in other language is an advantage.
