United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD)

The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) functions to support developing countries via analysis, consensus-building and technical assistance in order to access the benefits of a globalized economy as well as a greater economic integration.

The Competition and Consumer Policies Programme helps the Intergovernmental Group of Experts (IGE) on Competition Law and Policy and the Ad-hoc Expert Group that meets annually to discuss on consumer protection policies, competition policy peer reviews, economy-wide competition and the consumer policies reforms and others.
