The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) functions as an organisation to promote the improvement of economies which affects the stature of social well-being of people around the world.  In order to initiate the activities of these purposes, OECD brings together governments to a platform where exchanges of view in seeking solutions for the betterment of the economy are deliberated. The OECD also produces reports on best practices from the discussions transpired on competition, economy, social, environment, trade and investment for countries to adopt.  In relation to competition, the OECD covers a wide range of assessments on abuse of dominance and monopolisation, mergers to regulatory reform and competition policy.
