MyCC PUBLISHES PRELIMINARY REPORT ON VSA BLOCK EXEMPTION, INVITES PUBLIC CONSULTATION

KUALA LUMPUR, 27 MAY 2025 - The Malaysia Competition Commission (MyCC) today released its preliminary analysis report on the block exemption application for Vessel Sharing Agreements (VSAs) in liner shipping services. The current three-year exemption expires on 6 July 2025. The preliminary assessment conducted by MyCC is under the provisions of the Competition Act 2010 (Act 712).

MyCC WARNS PRIVATE HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS AGAINST PRICE FIXING

KUALA LUMPUR, 23 May 2025 - The Malaysia Competition Commission (MyCC) expresses grave concern over recent reports from multiple media outlets regarding proposals by associations of private medical practitioners in Sarawak, Penang, Selangor and Kuala Lumpur to introduce new service-related charges. 22 ENTERPRISES FACE POSSIBLE PENALTIES FOR ALLEGED CHILD CARE SERVICES CARTEL

KUALA LUMPUR, 15 APRIL 2025 - The Malaysia Competition Commission (MyCC), an agency under the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) has issued a Proposed Decision against 22 enterprises for their involvement in a price fixing agreement for the provision of child care services in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
